| Continued Growth: International Students Interest in DFI |

In recent years, DFI’s reach stretched outside of Colorado. Several students moved to Denver to attend the advanced training program in Couples and Family Therapy. For the 2008-09 recruiting class, students from across the Pacific and Atlantic oceans applied to the program. A student from Korea and one from Germany will be attending the program beginning in September, 2008.
Like the out of state students, their interest comes from the program’s excellence and integrity in clinical training and supervision.
Students applying for the 2008-09 class at Denver Family Interest please note that to maintain a quality experience and a vibrant clinical training community, class size is limited. This combined with a steady increase in applications each year results in our having to turn away qualified candidates making admission to the program a competitive process. If you are interested, apply now. We value diversity and strongly encourage persons of color and other minority clients, including sexual minorities to apply. We do offer alternative training tracks for a limited number of students interested in an individualized training program such as students with advanced clinical experience wanting to specialize in a particular area of couples and family therapy, those requiring distance learning options, or those whose work schedule precludes taking our courses in the evening or seeing clients in our clinic. Some of these studies may not qualify for the certificate in couples and family therapy. Please contact us for more details. |
