DFI’s Relationship Counseling Center clinic operates on a 12-month basis with limited closures such as holidays and spring break.

DFI’s academic core classes take place from September through May in three quarters: fall, winter and spring. Dates for those quarters change slightly each academic year.

First year courses occur on Wednesday evenings from 5 to 9 p.m. making them convenient for many working professionals or graduate school students. Trainees are able to keep their weekends free for personal time or clinical work.

Second year courses occur on Monday evenings from 5 to 9 p.m.

Additional courses are made available throughout the year.

Independent study courses and options are also available.

Courses may be taken individually.
