Marne (pronounced just like Marnie) is a licensed professional counselor and AASECT certified sex therapist. She is in private practice at the Brief Therapy Institute in Westminster and the Canterbury Wellness Center at Rose Medical in Denver.
Marne is a member of The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy; The American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists; The International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health; and The International Pelvic Pain Society.
Marne works with an integrative team of medical clinicians, including OB-GYNs, urologists, urogynecologists, internists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians and physical therapists. These associations offer patients thorough assessment and treatment for a variety of sexual health issues.
Career history: 1974-1989: United Airlines Flight Operations Emergency Procedures Instructor (Pilots and Flight Attendants) 1986-1988: Cline/Fay Institute Program Developer for their Parenting Program 1989-1991: BirgenAir Charter Group Emergency Procedures Instructor, Istanbul, Turkey 1994-1998: Lockheed-Martin Astronautics Employee Assistance Program, In-house Marriage and Family therapist. 1998-present: private practice psychotherapist.
Marne has been married to Dan, a retired United Airlines captain, for since 1985. She is the mother of two sons, stepmother of two, and has seven grandchildren, none of whom want to hear her talk about sex.
