Darin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Certified Addictions Counselor and a graduate of Colorado State University's School of Social Work. In addition, Darin completed his Marriage and Family Therapy Certificate at DFI in 2005.
With a great love of learning, Darin has his ambitions set on a PhD and Approved Supervisor status through AAMFT. As far as therapy goes, Darin loves helping people effect change to create better lives for themselves. He believes motivation is more effective than any technique and that creating hope is essential to good therapy.
Currently a supervisor, Darin also has set his sights on teaching, ultimately at both the University of Denver and DFI, as well as creating a certificate for social work supervision. Darin sits on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
In his spare time he enjoys lifting weights as a de-stressor, playing with his seven-year-old son and spending time with his wife.
