Steve Litt has over 38 years experience in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families in the areas of divorce, marriage and other family issues.
In addition to private practice, Steve is Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work and the Director Emeritus of the Denver Family Institute, which he helped co-found in 1982. He has a Master’s of Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work, Washington University in St. Louis, a B.S. in Psychology and History, Washington University and coursework in Pastoral Counseling, Iliff School of Theology, Denver, Colorado.
Steve is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He is also a founder of the National Center for Intervention, working to help families get their troubled members help for their addictions and other mental health problems.
